Researching the industry helps us get a sense of the environment the project's going to live in. We need to know the trends and what's appropriate. We'll be looking at the destinations, and cultural references that may help us with our ideas.
We're believers in a brand voice coming from within, internal culture drives the voice, which can't be falsified. During our research phase, we'd like to interview your team to get a real understanding of what the brand means to them.
Based on our initial research and interviews, we'll present between two or three possibilities. These are either pencil sketches, or very rough digital drafts.
We'd like to review these with you initially, gather some feedback and then present our ideas to you before we move on to full digital mockups.
Sometimes, this step is only one little tweak. Other times, it's a few revisions, depending on the feedback from both our teams. We tend to avoid final colour choices at this stage, as good design in its purest form should work just as well.
At this stage we'll take that digital mockup and create variations of the design using colour. Our colour choices will be based on research, culture, industry and all the feedback we've received over the project.
Once the design's been approved, we'll deliver the artwork in all the formats you require for both digital and print application.
Should the project require, we will also include a guideline document covering how the design should be portrayed in communications, however formal or informal.
An identity can begin with a logo, colour palette or even just typography. It's from these core elements that we can build a representation of your business or product for its audience.
