SVG Photoshop Advice

As you know, SVG’s are becoming more commonly used on websites. Using Adobe Illustrator, I’ll quickly show you how to go from having a shape within Photoshop CS6, to having SVG code ready for browser.

Creating SVG’s directly from within Photoshop CS6 isn’t possible, however, with the help of Adobe Illustrator there is a way to convert your shape into an SVG. Take a look at the video below to see the process.

Note: I believe newer versions of Photoshop do support SVG’s natively.

Hope this helps some of the pre-cloud Photoshop users like myself.
